Naughty Angel

Hello!  As promised, I’ve read book number 2 in K.M. Nuehold’s series Sexy Nerd Boys.  Naughty Angel is the story of Asher and Eve.  Asher is one of Ethan’s friends so lots of tie ins to Worth The Wait (Book 1), but it can be read as a stand alone.

Asher is a genius.  Like he could easily hang with Sheldon and Leonard on the Big Bang Theory, genius.  He doesn’t exactly fit the “Genius” stereotype though.  He has tattoos and piercings everywhere and has a reputation as a bad boy.  He’s fine with this and keeps his alternate “nerd” lifestyle a secret, until he meets Eve.

Eve is a Mid-Western preacher’s daughter, who has lived and extremely sheltered life. Homeschooling and religious extremism have left her searching for an identity.  Against her parents wishes she enrolls in college and starts her journey.  She meets Asher at a party and is immediately attracted to him.

The two form a friendship centered around geek culture that eventually leads to more.  The struggle in the story comes from both overcoming preconceived notions about the other and a creepy old boyfriend who doesn’t know when to give up.

I really really enjoyed this book!  The story was well constructed and the characters were so well developed that I know exactly what actors I would want to use in the movie version!  The “love” scenes were plentiful and risque which I know a lot of people enjoy, (I’ve been married for 10 years and still have a hard time typing the word sex, so bear with me here. I’m such a nerd)  I gladly and wholeheartedly give this book 5 out of 5 stars!

So far this is my favorite in the series and the end of the book gives a sneak peek into the next book, (out this summer)!  I hope K.M. Neuhold churns out many more in this series.  I can definitely think of 2 couples I want to read about. I should also mention this book is best suited for 18+ years of age *wink *wink.

Check out Naughty Angel on Amazon and Barnes and Noble , it’s naughty, it’s nerdy, and worth it!
